Adoption Interview!

We have been very blessed by all of the prayers for our Adoption, and have also been very blessed that the Lord has opened so many doors for us to be able to tell our story of what God is doing in our Family! I recieved a message last week from a friend asking if I would be interested in doing an interview for our local TV staition about our Adoption. So I recieved a call from the host of the show and we are doing the interview this afternoon at 3:20 so please say a little prayer for me! :)  It is for there Mother's Day Special and I can not wait to get to share what God is doing in our Family.
I am REALLY nervous but I know that the Lord has opened this door and that he will give me the words that I need to say to spread the word about Adoption.
Thank You!

Praying!

Please join us in Praying for the people of China.
They had an awful 6.9 earthquake to hit this morning and there are over 500 reported dead and over 10,000 injured. We have not heard word from our Agency about the Holt orphanages there in China to know weather the children and caretakers are safe. We are praying for our baby girl and all of the people of China. I will update more tomorrow, Hopefuuly we will get some news soon.
Thank you all for your prayers!

Awesome God!

Where do I begin?
We recieved some paperwork a couple of weeks ago to fill out for our homestudy
but have not gotten into a very big hurry not because we are not anxious to see and hold our daughter
but because we knew that shortly after we sent the paperwork back to our homestudy agency
we are going to have to pay the $ 2,000.00 that we don't have.
But isn't it awesome how God works, just when we start to wonder where the money is going
to come from he starts opening up doors for us to be able to raise the funds.
Oh, we of little faith.
We have been extremely blessed the last week, We had a very close friend help us with a
slogan for a "Southern Belle" t-shirt fundraiser and have been blessed by having so many people
ordering our shirts.
We had planned months ago to sponser a booth at our local arts and crafts show coming up this next saturday and with all that has been going on we just completly let the registration slip by us
but I know the lady over the festivel and I called her 2 days ago and just asked
if we were to late to sign up and she said that it would be fine and she would let us sign up even though we had missed the deadline.
Then we had a meeting with our Pastor a few weeks ago and he said that he would really like for us to
come before our church and keep everyone up to date on our adoption process,
so I decided "What better way to update everyone but to make a slideshow of our progress" {I am a very visual person, so watching a slideshow of someone showing me what they are doing gets to me alot more, than just listening to someone tell about what they are doing in there lives. Does that make sense?}
So I started "TRYING" to make a slideshow of what we are doing and I apparently am not computer savvy enough to figure it out, so after 2 afternoons and too many failed attempts {too many to list on here. lol}
I had gotten really frustrated with all of it, And just said " Well, Lord I thought the video was a good idea but this is apparently not supposed to happen, You must want us to share this a different way so please show us how to do it."
So later last night I was checking my facebook and saw that I had a message from a friend that I had grown
up with and she said that she was trying to think of a way to help us with our fundraising efforts
and that she had come up with an idea, if we were interested.
See, she and her husband own our local television station and they want to support us by making a commercial about our family and they will air it on there tv station. HOW COOL IS THAT???
I of course got on the phone and called Isaac and said you are not going to believe what God has done!
So, I messaged her back and told her she had no idea how awesome of an offer that was.
And then this morning we had a message from someone we didn't know, that she wants to make us a slideshow of our progress, HELLO! this is what I have been slaving over for the last 2 days. Well, it turns out she is a cousin of a friend.
You know, God just doesn't stop surprising us. I know that he has blessed this Adoption and he has blessed our family.
We feel so blessed that the Lord has chosen us to be parents and brothers to a child that needs a home!

This is verse really means so much to me and I want to share it with you:

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:
to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from
being polluted by the world."
James 1:27
